250,000 Bikers invade Daytona Beach

BiktoberFest here in Daytona Beach was another "Adventure" to say the least as 250,000 bikers and motorcycle enthusiasts filled the city with the rumble of tails pipes and the wickedness and disdain for the Gospel that accompanies such events.
.
I have preached the Gospel all across the United States and in Europe (including Amsterdam's Redlight District of all places) and I must say that the overall pride, wickedness and resistance to the Gospel was greater here in Daytona Beach during this event than any place that I have ever witnessed. Hard Soil to say the least!.
.
We had a great team on the streets for this year's event that included: Melanie, Kayla and I, Pastor Terry & Eileen, Pastor John & Danaye, Holly and Sue---yet we needed about 50-60 more to INVADE this place with an ARMY Of SOUL WINNERS for Jesus!
.
The next Bike event is Daytona Bike Week and will be held February 29 - March 9, 2008 and we would love to have a big team come together for this event. There are an estimated 500,000 visitors in the City for this event---THAT my friends is a harvest field!
.
As we hit the streets this year we were met with the typical, "I am a Christian too" speach (as they stood there half dressed with a beer in their hand). We were quick to point out that "our brand" of Christianity was more devoted to the Bible rather than a Bike). We did have many people stop to talk to us, but many more had become hardened agaonst the Gospel by the false and erroneous teaching that they recieve in their local churches each week.
.
Many of the woman who came out dressed like Biker-Whores (their terminology, not mine) said that it was "all in fun" and that they would be in church on Sunday! Can you beleive that! Folks--surely the Lord Jesus Christ's suffering and death were for more than some watered-down carnal Christianty. You can sure tell that the end is upon us!
.
We are going to continue to take the life-changing message of Jesus Christ to the most desperate and dark places in this nation and we need your help. Many times we have people ready and willing, yet we are confronted with the lack of financial resources to do the work that God has called us to.
.
We are not some "Mega-Church" with multi-million dollar facilities and Six-figure salaries--we are YOUR MISSIONARIES to the streets of the Nations and we look to you to invest in the harvest fields of souls as we take the love and compassion of Jesus to those who most refuse to go to.
