Snatched from the Jaws of Hell!
Jimmy was planning to commit suicide the night that we intercepted him on his way to "hell." The Spirit of God convicted and transformed his life in the entrance to a little Chinese restaurant near the intersection of Kennsington & Somerset in the notorious innercity or Philadelphia. See and hear it for yourself. Our God is amazing!

Raven Philly Sunday
RAVEN PHILLY - SUNDAY: Our team provided lunch for the hundreds of homeless and needy that fill the Kennsington neighborhood. Our guest list included: prostitutes, addicts, homeless, mom's, dad's, son's and daughters---all hurting, all needing an encounter with the redemptive power of the Blood of Jesus!
Our "young people" really stepped up BIG TIME and handled most of the service aspects of the outreach. There were so many fed that our team didnt even get to eat lunch! They gave it up for those more needy.
Many were prayed for and ministered to through the team and through the demonstration of God's love through the giving of the meal as well.

FIRE OVER PHILLY REPORT
We have been having an incredible time in JESUS this past week here in Philly. The team has been such a joy to work with and the love of God towards one another and their compassion for the lost is a great inspiration. They have truly gone after the HARVEST and we are seeing the Spirit of God poured out in a place that is considered by the locals as the "Belly of the Devil."

May 2009 Missions Report
.
Dear Friends,
The past few months have been nothing short of GLORIOUS! They have been challenging…but glorious! Some of you know exactly what I mean. There are times when things seem so difficult and impossible yet that is when you see the hand of Jesus move like never before. We have been having some of those times.
Psalms 63:1-3 says,” O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.”
My heart’s desire is to see the POWER AND THE GLORY of the Lord Jesus Christ moving in righteousness throughout the nations. I want to see a harvest of souls brought into the Kingdom like never before. I want to see revival breaks loose in Churches and communities that have been dead and dry for decades. I want to see the lame walk and the blind to see. ‘”To see thy power and they glory.”
I just spent two weeks with a team in the Muslim dominated nation of Turkey. This country is the geographical location of the seven churches mentioned in the Book of the Revelation. There are over 80,000,000 people in the nation and less than 1% of them would be considered Christians.
While there the team ministered from Ephesus to Laodicea and all the way to Antioch (where Jesus’ disciples were first called Christians). We ministered in cafĂ©’s, in souvenir shops, and along mountain roads. We had one message: Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven and unless you repent and believe you will never get there.
Most of the people that we encountered had NEVER seen a Bible in their lives, let alone read one! When we shared the Word with them you could see the power of the Gospel striking a chord in their spirit. Whole families came to Jesus along the way!
Our missionary-guide said on several occasions, “I want you to know that something special is happening. We typically do not see these results.”
I attribute these results to a few things. 1) Many have gone before us and have planted an watered the fields 2) Many people spent significant time praying and fasting specifically for this missions trip 3) The time is so very short that there is a special measure of grace being poured out in this hour.
Please go to my blog http://www.ravenoutreach.blogspot.com for pictures and more details from Turkey.
COMING UP FAST: We will be headed out to Philadelphia this coming week for an outreach into some of the most at-risk areas of this city. The place where we will be targeting is truly a “heroin alley” filled with drugs, violence and prostitution. We are taking the same message that transformed Muslims in Turkey to these streets with the expectancy of seeing lives changed. Pray for the team.
MILESTONES: Our kids are growing up! Our son, Jered, celebrated his 21st birthday on Resurrection Sunday and our daughter, Kayla, turned 18 on the 23rd of last month and will graduate from high school this month. God has really blessed Melanie and I with two kids that are dear to our hearts.
SPEAKING OF MELANIE: Last month I took her in for a mammogram because she had felt an unusual lump. They performed the mammogram and a follow up CAT scan and saw something that concerned them. Last week they decided to do a biopsy to get a better look and now they want to do a surgical removal of whatever it is to more thoroughly examine it.
We are trusting Jesus that this is all benign and that there is nothing serious going on. Not having any insurance, the tests that have been done have completely depleted our personal savings (but not our faith). Please keep us in prayer as we go back in to see the surgeon and hear what he has to say.
UPCOMING EVENTS: Things will not be letting up in regards to ministry for the next several months!
We will be reaching out to the community through feeding the hungry and ministering to the children and the elderly as well.
New Orleans- I will be in the City of New Orleans the 12th – 15th ministering in the French Quarter (Bourbon Street) with our local team there.
RAVEN REVOLUTION: Our annual summertime youth “bootcamp” will be June 26-July 5th here in Daytona with young people coming from across the nation for nine days of intense discipleship and hands-on training.
We will host REVOLUTION TWO at the end of July as well for another group coming in. If you have a young person (13-21) that would like to be a part email Revolution@BigGrace.com
Would you pray about investing in SOULS this month?
As you know, we spend very little time anymore asking for financial support for the ministry. It is not because it is not needed—because it is needed NOW more than ever before—but to be honest with you, my time is so tight that I really have little time to express the great need that we have.
God has a way of always coming through by speaking to the hearts of the right people at the right time and I know that He will do the same this time as well.
We have some very specific needs that we ask that you would consider investing your increase and ESPECIALLY your prayers into.
1) Philadelphia Outreach (May 21-25) we are short approximately $2500 to fund this outreach to the innercity where we will be impacting some of the most desperate and unreached people in America.
2) Raven Revolution (June 25-July 6) we are needing to raise approximately $5000 to cover the cost of training this group of young people for (9) days. Most of these young people that are coming do not have the means to cover the costs themselves (or their families)
3) Raven Van – our 98 Ford Van has seen its best days. We have taken it across the country many times and have prayed it through some shaky mechanical situations to say the least! God truly blessed us with it back in 2003 when we first stepped out into the mission fields of America. We are needing to locate another van of some kind to use for the ministry. If you know of someone with a 12-15 passenger van in good condition that they might let go of at a reasonable price—PLEASE let me know.
We love you all and appreciate all that you do in helping us reach the lost and dying for our Lord Jesus.
Blessings,
Pastor Troy D. Bohn
