RAVEN MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL: URGENT PRAYER NEED & UPDATES

Just a quick note and personal request for prayer. I recieved a telephone call earlier today from Doree Derrick in New Orleans. Doree and her husband, Thomas, are part of our Raven New Orleans Team and have worked with the ministry for nearly 15 years.

Their youngest daughter, Alyssa (who is also Melanie and I's adopted granddaughter) was just diagnosed with Skarlet Fever and is very ill. Please stand with us in prayer for her complete and miraculous prayer. We know that we serve a Mighty God who is able to do exceeding abundantly more than we could ever ask or even think.

Also pray for the ministry that will be taking place this weekend in Northern Indiana. Melanie, Kayla and I will be flying into Chicago in the morning to be met by Raven Midwest Director, Terry Shuff.

We have a street outreach set up for Friday Night in an area frequented by prostitues, drug dealers, etc and this past week a man was murdered there as well. In short--this is a place in need of a visitation from the Holy Spirit! Pray for a genuine, tangible outpouring of God's Amazing Grace and Mercy to be upon the mininstry time there.

Saturday, we will be in the project area of Washington Heights feeding the hungry and ministering to the lost, dying and oppressed--once again--please keep us covered in prayer as we believe the Lord Jesus for a great time of Harvest.

Sunday morning I will be ministering at Word of Truth Church in Milford, Indiana with Pastor Mike Kelly. The service time will be 10:00 AM and we would love to see al of our friends is the area come out for the service. The Holy Ghost has got a word burning in my heart and I know that you would be blessed to come!

Sunday evening I will be at The Crossing with Rob Stahley & Mike Lechlitner. The service will be at 6:30 PM and looks to be an incredible time in Jesus as well.

ATTENTION ALL THOSE IN THE NEW ORLEANS AREA:

We will be back in New Orleans August 4-6 and would love to get connected during that time! Pastor Alex Hill of Raven South (Austin, Tx) is also joining me for a tremendous weekend of ministry!

FRIDAY- We will be holding a Bourbon Street Blitz as we take to this infamous street that were we have see thousands of souls come into the Kingdom over the years!

SATURDAY- 7:00 PM Pastor Alex will be preaching "under the tent" at our New Orleans International "Street Church" location, which is under the direction of Evang. Todd Bohn.

AFTER THE SERVICE we will once again be taking the team out to Bourbon Street and the French Quarter to share the Gospel! JOIN US!

SUNDAY 10:30 AM - Pastor Troy will be preaching at Faith Chrisitian Fellowship Church with our great friends Pastor Stephen & Becky Smith. The church is located at 400 Weidman on the West Bank in Gretna.

LOOKING AHEAD-- Please don't forget about the tremendous opportunity that we have of taking the Gospel into Amsterdam next month. I will be spending a week in the "Red Light" district with our team. We will be ministering to the prostitutes, drug addicts, and those who have NEVER heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ in their lives. THAT sounds like a rarity, but many in this secularized nation have NEVER heard a true presentation of the redemptive work of the Cross----we are looking to change that!

We desperately need sponsors for this evangelstic outreach into Amsterdam. The total cost of the trip is around $2,000. That is NOTHING for Jesus and NOTHING in comparison to the VALUE of the SOULS that will be brought into His Kingdom! Would you consider helping anyway that you can?
